report | Per the Public Bus information page, for a device to send a command to ARES as another user, it should use the 'command' active message over the lightbus. The only mention of this on the lightbus documentation appears to be for a response from the controller for when a specific @ command has been registered by a device, which the controller sends upon entry of this @ command. When passing "command [key] [command] [parameters]" from a registered device to the controller, no result or response is given. (Example: passing "command service interface restart" should, if this works as expected/implied by the Public Bus page, cause the HUD interface service to restart, resulting in a refresh of the HUD. Nothing results when passed in this manner.) |
