The 'chassis-file' message is not supported
When attempting to use the OC EXB-8505 CSU with ARES, you will encounter the message:
The Chassis Specification Unit (CSU) is not compatible with ARES. Some of its core features, like adjusting power usage requirements, are now built directly into ARES. The animation overrider facility is now available in a stand-alone form, called NanAO.
We hope to release a replacement for the CSU in Q3 2024 called the Hardware Components System (HCS). This will be provided free of charge to existing CSU owners. To learn more about the design of the HCS, see the ARES Roadmap.
Follow the ARES development log and pay attention to group notices in the Nanite Systems User Group to keep apprised of updates and releases.
